|Reporting to the Director, IT Project Management Office, this position is responsible for organizing, assigning and the successful and efficient execution of IT projects. IT projects include, but are not limited to, existing system upgrades, new IT implementations, interfaces and IT projects that support new facilities and organizational growth. Provides facilitation and support of the IT governance process. Continually improves project processes, tools and templates and advances the use of tools, data gathering and reporting for organizational consistency and transparency. Manages and develops the project managers, assigning work, monitoring performance and conducting performance appraisals. Provides project support through effective issue escalation and resolution. Other duties as assigned.
Staff development - provides coaching and mentoring and project opportunities well suited for each project manager.
Performance management - actively engage in the organization performance management process including the delivery of timely, relevant feedback
PMO PROCESS: Maintain continuous improvement to PMO processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, ease of use, organizational transparency and roll up.
Monitor and address process adherence throughout the PMO. Provide constructive feedback and education, as appropriate, to those outside the PMO
PMO TOOLS: Implement, maintain and improve tool usage to provide the most value to the project managers, leadership and governance of the organization.
GOVERNANCE: Support the governance and decision making process through data gathering and reporting
Educate and support the organization for optimal governance effectiveness
FINANCE: Create yearly budget for operations. Monitors operating budget, and takes action to improve/enhance performance.
|Skills:||Five years of project management with 3 years of leadership that includes direct staff supervision is required.
IT and/or Healthcare based experience is preferred.
History of continual professional development is preferred.
MS Project experience is preferred.
Strong Microsoft office skills and exceptional communication skills is required.
|Education:||Bachelor's degree is required.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Information Management Systems or other IT or Healthcare field is preferred.
PMP or other certification/accreditation is preferred.
