Unified Communications Engineer

Unified Communications Engineer accountable for analysis, design, development, implementations, and upgrades of infrastructure, software, and technology solutions. Responsible for assisting with buy, rent, build decisions; designs and documents functional and non-functional requirements with appropriate methodology. Responsible for using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business needs to achieve strategic objectives.
Must have:
• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 4+ years of work experience in Unified Communications

• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of multi-tiered applications

• Skilled in customer service, requirements gathering, and data analysis

• Knowledgeable about Innovative and current industry trends within the Unified Communications and Contact Center environment

• Understanding of telephony and network protocols (VoIP, SIP, QoS, DHCP, DNS)

• Experience with Microsoft Skype for Business, Teams, Genesys PureConnect or other Contact Center platform, and other VOIP solutions

• Familiarity with Contact Center advanced features; Computer Telephony Integration (CTI); Omni-channel, Speech Analytics, Workforce Management, and Reporting

• Passion to learn new technologies and develop additional skills.

• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.

• Naturally collaborative and experience working on an agile team.

• Willingness to bring new ideas and new ways of solving problems to the team.

• Ability to explain, written and verbally, technical solutions to technical teams and non-technical teams.
