|Duties:||This position uses defined development methodologies in a team environment to perform development life cycle tasks for assigned systems, applications or suites of applications. These tasks include planning, system analysis, design, application and interface development, testing, maintenance, support and the completion of assigned project work. May lead projects or initiatives of various sizes and scope.
Team oriented environment- The team has 15 members supported Lawson as well as other applications. Frequent interaction with other IT departments and business users can be expected. The team does have a few developers with deep experience in networking, server administration, and telecom that regularly work together on projects and continuously learn from each other.
Professionalism - The team is very professional and prides itself on excellent customer service while also maintaining a fun and inviting atmosphere.
Communication - They must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the team and both leaders and staff from other departments. The hiring manager offers a non-micromanaged environment but will actively engage and support according to individual preferences. Must be open/able to voice their opinion when working with a team in the most professional manner as well as being receptive to other team member ideas.
|Skills:||Four or more years of related experience is required. Analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and improve. Highly motivated and ability to operate under limited supervision. Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure situations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal.
- Experience developing in one or more of the following:
1. Lawson Pattern Language (LPL)
5. Crystal Reports
- Experience in Lawson GHR and Lawson S3
- Experience working in healthcare IT, hospital, or other clinical environment
- HR business process knowledge and ability to work closely with both business and IT resources
- Proven knowledge and understanding of operating systems, computer programming concepts, SDLC, databases, client-server technology, networks, and security
|Education:||Knowledge of computing principles normally acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related work experience.|
