Compensation Consultant

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

Schedule Notes: This is a 0.5, part-time opportunity rotating 2 full days one week, then 3 full days the next week. 
 
 
Duties: The Compensation Consultant assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of Froedtert Health compensation programs. Participates in, analyzes, and maintains salary survey data to ensure the salary program is externally competitive and internally equitable. Collaborates with leaders to understand business needs and organizational structure(s), and develop job description(s). Perform job evaluation to establish appropriate pay level(s) based on compilation of both internal and external information. Ensure that compensation programs are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Analyze pay practices and programs to determine market competitiveness. Assists with the preparation, implementation and consultation of performance management programs including but not limited to annual evaluations. Assists with the salary planning program as needed. Consult with Human Resource leaders, recruitment team members and operational leaders to review and provide guidance on base pay and promotional increase recommendations. Assist with compensation projects as directed. Other duties as assigned.
Skills: A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources department that includes experience in compensation administration preferred. Experience in a health care environment is preferred. Possess critical thinking mindset -Ability to manage multiple competing priorities through the use of organizational & prioritization skills -Approaches work with a service delivery mindset -Ability to collaborate with leaders at a variety of levels throughout the organization. Experience with Crystal Report writing, MS Access and HRIS systems is preferred. -Knowledge of legal and compliance issues related to HR/Compensation preferred. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. Equivalent combination of education and Human Resources work experience may be substituted for formal education.
