Manager, Patient Financial Services

Under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services this individual will ensure efficient and effective daily operations of the Patient Financial Services Department billing functions with responsibility for the entire health system including the hospitals, physician group and ambulatory surgery centers. These efforts will be addressed through the managing of processes and systems which will optimize reimbursement, efficiency, and cash flow maintaining an acceptable Net Days Revenue Outstanding and meet cash collection goals with high sensitivity and coordination to billing compliance guidelines. This individual will also have responsibility for managing the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Claims & Remittance resources for the health system. Other duties as assigned.  
Skills: 3+ years of prior experience in a health care setting, with recent leadership experience in Revenue Cycle is required.
2+  years of prior experience as a proven successful Supervisor or Manager is required.
3+ years of experience with hospital or professional billing required. 
Certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing or Professional billing, Epic Claims, Epic Single Business Office, or Epic ADT/Prelude is preferred. 
Experience with identifying and managing billing compliance issues is preferred. Recent experience using Epic Resolute is preferred. 
Well-developed personnel management and leadership experience. Demonstrated effectiveness as a leader. Demonstrated skills in planning, directing organizing and implementation. Problem solving and well developed analytical skills.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required. 
Masters Degree is preferred
