Electronic Health Records Trainer

Madison client has immediate long term contracting need for Desktop Support Trainer.
This resource will provide training in person, via web conferencing technologies, and create training modules in Adobe Captivate and will provide system support to eligible providers, hospitals, and health departments on the various options available for communicable disease reporting including promoting electronic initial case reporting as the most automated method.

Successful candidate should have 3 or more years of experience in a Trainer or Desktop Support position and be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures relating to training for adult learners and Desktop Support. This Desktop Support person is expected to independently perform a variety of training and desktop related tasks and serve as a desktop expert on day-to-day end user issues when not conducting training.

In addition to training and desktop support, familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures related to public health communicable disease reporting, case reporting, and Adobe Captivate is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to develop user documentation and perform training
  • Design User training
  • Evaluate training for effectiveness
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform help desk services
  • Analytical and problem solving
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical subject matter to others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced customer support skills
  • Technical Assistance and User Support
  • 3 years of experience with Video Conferencing
